For over 40-year Mercury has been a distributor of high-end chemicals, biochemical and chemical for the life science, biotech and pharmaceuticals markets. We are the exclusive representatives of Merck Millipore and Merck KGaA in Israel. Our products and services includes: a broad spectrum of chemicals, reagents, laboratories consumables, water purification systems and services. Wide variety of filtration solutions, life science products, Bio-monitoring products and services, Bio pharm Process Solutions and Pharm Chemicals Solutions which provides regulated products and services from small molecule-based pharmaceutical production to upstream production and formulation of large molecule-based biopharmaceuticals.

Israel is an industrialized country with most of its manufacturing based on intensive and sophisticated Research & Development. Israel has the greatest number of scientists and engineers per capita in the world and is ranked 3^rd in the number of registered patents per capita. Furthermore, the percentage of Israeli investments in R&D, in relation to its GDP, is among the highest in the world. With this advanced scientific level Israel's GNP has posted an annual growth rate of 5-6%, one of the highest in the industrial world.

Mercury clients include the Pharmaceutical industry, Biotechnology industry, Cosmetics, Food, Chemicals, Electronics and Agriculture industries as well as Research institutes, Universities and Service laboratories .These industries are a dominant force in the Israeli economy and a major factor in its growth. Most of the production is for export.

Mercury employs 40 workers, out of which 26 are marketing and sales professionals, including product and sales managers, who meet with customers daily. Each member of our marketing and sales force has an academic background in Chemistry or Life Science, which gives them a deeper understanding of our customers' needs and helps us find the best solutions to match these needs. 

Mercury and all its supply chain processes are ISO 9001 certified since 1995. We manage the entire supply chain, including: Purchase, Import, Storage (in a GMP compatible Warehouse) and Distribution to the end user’s site.
